Ash Wednesday Service

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. A time when Christians prepare for Easter. This year we will have an in-person service with the imposition of ashes on Wednesday, March 5th at 5:30pm. (This service will not be livestreamed or recorded.)

This service serves is a reminder of our sinfulness, mortality, and need for repentance.  The ashes symbolize the dust from which we were made and to which we will return. This urges us towards humility and reflection. This service is essential for Christians as we recognize our need for God’s grace and our thankfulness for Jesus.
