Outreach
God's grace does not end at the Sanctuary Doors, and neither does Wesley
United Methodist's commitment to spreading the Good News of Christ's redeeming love. The congregation is actively involved in many mission
projects, working in RI and Southeastern MA, and globally, to create
a better world today for all God's children.
Community Outreach
Wesley works to create opportunities throughout
the year to welcome the broader community to
Wesley UMC, and to facilitate connections among
neighbors. From meals to movie nights, from our
Christmas Bazaar to the PanCan Walk, Wesley
strengthens our bond with the greater community.

Food is Love

So many people face food insecurity, and Wesley is
honored to work with the Northern RI Food Pantry to help
to address this serious problem. Each month the food
pantry asks us to collect a needed item, such as pancake mix, peanut butter, canned fruit or soup. Donations can be brought to Worship on Sunday, and at any other time they can be placed in the green bin outside the Sanctuary doors. Our goal is to collect at least 200 of the item before food bank volunteers pick up the donations. If you'd like to help but are unable to bring food to the church, monetary donations to purchase needed items are gratefully accepted and can be sent to the church. Please include Food is Love
on the memo line. To learn the current item being collected, contact the church office at 401-724-7954 or via email

Bridge to Liberia
Bridge to Liberia was founded by
Wesley UMC member Donowea Seidi
to provide much needed school supplies
to children in her home country of Liberia.
Many children there do not even have
the basics of pencils and paper, making
learning even more challenging. Wesley UMC
has been a central provider of supplies
and packing location since 2015.
